As you may be aware, our previous post was on the $50 Dollar A Day Auction Challenge, and since reading it we have been following the course and trying to put Steve Poke’s teachings into practice.

Up to this point we have 3 products available on eBay with a 4th almost completed. We listed the first one just over 2 weeks ago and  made our first sale last week! It was an exciting moment and we hope it will be the first of many!

The process itself of creating each product is fairly straightforward and easily explained in the course, the first product took under 30 hours from the initial research stages to successfully listing the item on eBay, which is pretty great when you think about it. Since then the process has been even faster as we have become used to the software involved and created a structure to work to, meaning everything becomes more time-efficient.

Like Steve says in the book, that work only needs to be done once per product as you can sell it again and again on eBay!

For those of you who aren’t aware, Steven Poke is a successful eBay seller who has discovered an incredible way of making extra income each month through eBay sales. He consistently makes at least $50 each day, and this course shows you just how he does it!

In my opinion the course itself is a great way for people to start with internet marketing, as Steven Poke does not preach about “big money” and he consistently says throughout the course that it is a relatively cheap business to run.

The ebook you get as part of the course is very informative and detailed, but at the same time everything is to the point, which always helps when you are studying or trying to learn from something. Not only does he show you his proven method, he also guides you through the eBay selling process, right through to the posting stage!

He also uses videos to visually lead you through more practical processes, which are free with the course! In total there are 11 videos totalling close to 100 minutes which take you through these processes in a relaxed but at the same time very informative manner.

You don’t need to be an expert at the computer or with eBay as Steven delivers with a you-know-nothing manner, meaning that anyone can take the course and there’s little chance of getting stuck and becoming frustrated.

The best part is that Steven is truly honest and genuinely wants to help people achieve success on eBay. The course is a must for anyone who uses or who is interested in using eBay to generate income, as you can also pick up tips from how he manages his eBay account that make the course extremely good value for money.

As to what his secret is, you’ll have to find out for yourself! All I can say is that the course is well worth investing in and that the guy knows his stuff. I have read the course and I am now putting it into the practice, and the course is a joy to do as there are no brick walls to hit, touch wood. The process is simple enough, as is Steve’s approach to teaching, for anyone to have a crack at the course!

Jake

 I’ve been meaning to add this to the blog for a few weeks now and just haven’t got round to it.

At last I’m nearly back to my old self, health problems now over and new job found after having been made redundant in the same time. Although I never got a diagnosis, my doctor is happy and so am I, it just fixed itself over time. Maybe I was doing to much and my body just gave me a subtle warning that I’m not 18 any more. Unlike my son, Jake.

So as of the last few weeks I am now working again, driving my HGV and I have to admit I missed it. Having had the time to try Internet Marketing full time I have to say it has been a great experience and has shown me I defintely want this as my full time work. So for now, I am back at the day job and working my IM business part time. But with the added bonus now that Jake has finished his exams and he has joined me in my venture, which we are now working at together.

Jake has his own ideas on what he wants to do with IM which is fantastic and he already set to putting them into practice. Working with him is going to be exciting on a few fronts .

His enthusiasm is so refreshing and I really want to see him succeed at this for the reasons you may know from my previous post  – I Have A Dream. A bit tongue in cheek title I know.

The other exciting thing is that although I consider myself to be knowledgeable regarding IM, Jake is already making me look at ideas and my own knowledge in a different light, through his own ideas, thoughts and conversations we are now having.

The time ahead is going to be exciting and I look forward to posting on here more about what I have no doubt will be a fruitful and pleasurable partnership with my son. Watch this space……

Hello, I’m Jake Birdsall and I will be working with Graham in the future, sometimes also posting on this blog. I am his 18 year old son and when he began relearning  internet marketing last year he introduced me to it. I took an interest in it and saw the great potential of it all.

I’ve recently finished a two year course at college and I’m now ready to do this full time! Although some parts of my education, such as studying English and History at college, will give me an advantage going into this, just like you I have a lot to learn as there are no marketing courses at school or college!

When I am not working at this I am usually  doing something with people I care about or  something musical. I’m involved in several music projects and music is one of the things in life that I get the most enjoyment out of.

So, over the coming weeks and beyond that I will be helping my Dad with a lot of things, whilst also making my own steps in internet marketing and creating my own income streams.

I’ve recently read the ebook $50 a Day Auction Challenge by Steven Poke, a review of which will be posted on here soon! The course is very useful, especially in my case as eBay is its main focus, which is something I have an interest in.

When I first started out on the road to becoming an Internet Marketer, I had a dream that by making it work I would be able not only to make a life where I could determine my work load and hours, but more importantly that I could build a business that I could show to my two children so that they had an option.

My ‘Dream’ was that their option would be to follow me into this business.  They would make the decision to either work and learn from me and then run their own Internet Marketing business or work in a normal day job. I have not and will not put any pressure on them to join me. I will just show them the opportunities that exist.

Well the first part of the dream is coming true.

Jake, my son, has just finished his A levels and is now working with me. It is something we have talked about now for a good few months but first he had to finish his studies. Now they are finished and he has had a little break he is raring to go at this and work with me.

I’m really excited about this. He has some great ideas and I am really looking forward to us working together. So from time to time he will be posting here as well as me and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with.

Working through Steve Poke’s $50 A Day Auction Challenge is his first project and he already has some ideas from what he has learned from Steve’s course.

The following months are going to be exciting, I’m expecting to learn just as much from Jake as he will learn from me – probably I’ll learn more, he’s far cleverer than I am - for sure exciting times lay ahead.
